Computerization of
Arabic Language

The goal of this project is totame Arabic language to a point where it can be used practically and easily by computers. We know that hand gestures have the same rhythm as the accompanied language. So, if a one unit syllable takes one beat on a drum, then we should be able to type that syllable by just one click. We believe this can be done in Arabic, and we r working in that direction.

Hence, we have created a tool that turns the voice of any Arabic speaker into Phonemes, then we have another tool that turns those Phonemes into speech with Prosodic qualities, so a Poem can sound much like a song, where u can select the Tempo, Scale, and first note.

Next we have a Keyboard that writes sounds (phonemes) the way u want them produced, and turns those phonemes into correctly spelled Arabic text. So in the final stage one can write the sounds with the rhythm he wants them produced, type them with that rhythm, select their prosodic qualities, and produce them. They can be produced in the voice of anybody with available voice recordings…

Our aim is NOT to attract the attention of Scientists and Professors, but rather to attract the criticism of Intellectuals. We hope to get there…

We think more is now done in Arabic than is done in other languages, but if not, then expect that very soon…
